The Viper Ultimate is an ergonomic gaming mouse and can be used as both a wired mouse and wireless using Razer™ HyperSpeed Wireless and a DPI range of 100 – 20,000DPI. While it does lag behind the market leader in terms of raw sensor sensitivity, it’s more than adequate for the low DPI normally used in FPS games.

Logitech G Pro Wireless

Before the Superlight X, Logitech’s G Pro Wireless was the undisputed king of FPS game mice and also one of Logitech’s first flagship gaming mice to be powerplay compatible. I was one of the first to jump on the bandwagon and can report it’s a godly mouse – even if it is a few years old now, proving, that Logitech products are good investments that go on working for years. I remember my cherry MX518 going on for a decade before it finally died on me, a testament to their build quality.

With the Logitech G Pro X Superlight now being the bread and butter of gaming mice and used by most professionals, this means, as of the time of writing, that the older Logitech G Pro is on now sale in many outlets and can be had for a very reasonable price.

Zowie EC1

The BenQ Zowie EC1 is one of the heavier gaming on the list but that doesn’t detract from overall adoption from the pros and its proven track record of performance. The EC1 would be suited for those with bigger hands and aim with their entire arm rather than their wrist.

BenQ’s Zowie range of gaming mice is the most prevalent in this list. It seems, many professional gamers trust the accuracy and build quality of these units. They don’t quite hold the market dominance that Logitech does however, The EC1 (and EC2 retrospectively) have proven to be reliable time and time again making appearances in top players setups.

SteelSeries Prime Wireless

This is the first and only time SteelSeries appears on this list but, they earned it with a remarkable piece of kit. Now, without actually having the product physically in hand to verify the specifications and build quality, it does seem like a great gaming mouse. However, I am always dubious of a wireless connection.

If SteelSeries took a leaf out of Logitech’s book and emulated the sheer awesomeness of Lightspeed, they will have a winner on their hands. I’d love to get my hands on a review sample to see what this can do.

ZOWIE FK2

The Zowie FK2 from BenQ is lighter than the EC2 but also has a different sensor. The FK2 comes with a 3310 optical sensor whereas the Zowie EC1 comes with a 3360 sensor – not that it makes a huge difference in real world usage.

The FK2 is the second least popular fps gaming mouse used by eSport professionals but still making enough appearances to make its way onto our list.

Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro

The lightest mouse on the list, the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro. While not the most popular gaming mouse amongst professional eSports players, it does make an appearance with the pros more than once. Manufactured by Razer coming in at just 64g and coming equipped with a Razer™ Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor and HyperSpeed wireless.

Zowie ZA12-B

Coming slightly heavier than the FK2 by a single gram, but still lighter than the EC1 is BenQ’s Zowie ZA12-B. While this was the least popular of all mice on the list today, it still has a healthy adoption rate showing itself in plenty of setups.

The ZA12-b comes with the same 3360 sensor as the EC1 while still retaining a weight advantage. Personally, I don’t like too much weight on my gaming mouse by default, I like to weight the tail so I can flick the mouse easier on headshots. But, its all personal preference.
